Twelve women and twelve men recently participated in the First Annual Mixed Match Play Bowling Tournament.
The bowlers were partnered on the lanes by drawing numbers that matched the men with the women. The lowest score on each pair of lanes was eliminated after the first game. Three more couples were eliminated after the second game. The three couples that were left bowled one game with the lowest score, which was Jack Sowash and Samantha Robinson, taking 3rd place.

The two teams left then bowled one more game to decide the Champion. This game was an exciting one that went down to the 10th frame before Diana Waggoner and Michael Rumley defeated Jane Bruner and Michael Friars by only three pins.
